Our western leaders are getting more and more leftist and more and more disgracefully less thought filled. I go to Catholic Church and I think this was a disgraceful comment. And, as a Catholic I think the pope should apologize.
The wall is not just to keeping the poor out. its more about keeping terrorists out... and to me keeping our country from creating more democrats and leftists.
We are not just trying to avoid providing a shelter and a job for illegal immigrants... its about trying to preserve a democracy which still supports our rights to be Catholic and Christian or Jewish or Muslim or nothing. And, its about our free speech rights which allow us to oppose or support abortion in public debate.
If we let in more democrats and they vote in their politicians and they get to appoint more leftists to the court... soon the church will providing abortion on demand as part of its health care plan.
Do I think the pope really understands what he is saying. Nope... we have to forgive him because he does not know what he is doing. But, he needs to make an apology.

But to cool it off. Mexico has a pop of about 130m and we are at about 3 1/5 million. Let's make a deal.
