In your mind, which country has used it's military against PEACEFUL protestors? As you know, the protesting in the US has been nothing but peaceful lately. The asshats are burning cities to the ground. So I assume you are talking about France or Canada? Which one is it?
Well...usually when someone states they are a veteran...it implies they served their country in the U.S. military. Only people I know that wouldn't understand the word "veteran" typically are not U.S. citizens or immigrated to the U.S. and are very young.

I didn't say looters, I didn't say rioters...I specifically stated peaceful protesters. Had he used military against looters, rioters, people burning down businesses...I support that but only if the police are incapable of maintaining law & order.
Yet, I do not support the military against peaceful protesters.

Let me know if you're still confused about which country I'm talking about or you don't understand that peaceful protesting is a right and freedom for any American citizen.
Soon after that...Trump publicly then states "peaceful protesting is OK".
He knew he lost the military leaders confidence after that stunt and only said that to make amends. It's simple, the military is sacred about protecting the right to peaceful protest.
290 Active Military Leaders signed a letter about their displeasure in what the U.S. President did. That's how upset the military was and the same with me.

I can only assume that you meant Quebec in Canada as the only country of the three that has used its military against protestors. Let's take a look at the Quebec Conscription Riots in 1917.

Didn't serve in France nor Quebec. Regardless, France is referring to protesters with weapons...something the article doesn't mention.
Also, wasn't around in 1917....completely different governments.
I've written a few posts here at ET about the Yellow Vest Movement when someone implied only black people protest / riot. In fact, globally, most of the world's protesters / rioters are White..labour disputes, taxation, food prices, assassination of political leaders or occupation by a foreign military.
