Born in France to American citizens (one a dual citizen)...one a Captain served that served in the Armed Forces and fought in Vietnam.

I myself educated in the U.S. except for one year in my college education. I served in the military as an Army AirAssault Ranger / Officer active duty and then followed with service in the Reserves...voted in most elections since I was eligible except 2016 when I was hospitalized and the Bill Clinton years (didn't like anyone on both sides).

Ex-militia in South Dakota...father's homeland.

Own property (2nd home) and still pay property / state taxes in Illinois...still a register voter and still have an Illinois Drivers License. Also, I have a U.S. passport. In about 9 years will take early retirement and draw upon my social security...assuming there's still one.

Yeah, I'm a citizen of United States, France and Canada.

Therefore, yeah...I can talk about U.S. Politics, Canadian politics and French politics and vote. Actually, I have talked about the politics in all three countries but right now...concentrating on U.S. politics because we're about two months from an election. :D

Its weird you think I can't talk about U.S. politics and you believe I'm following you around when in fact you have also been replying to me when I was talking to someone else on many occasions and sometimes I've been replying to your commentary to others...what's your point again ???

Here's what's truly weird...you posting images from almost 80 years ago to represent something that doesn't exist today and then you followed up with a statement that its dangerous when that same neighbourhood has been gentrified...

That's weird and shows an agenda. :D

All of this back in February...WOW. The economy could have been saved, thousands of lives saved, most likely avoided social unrest...easy path to re-election.

People were upset? You mean Democrats were upset. When Trump said close the borders, Dems lined up to oppose him. If Trump said “up” Dems screamed “down”. Are we not supposed to allow citizens back into the country? Did not these individuals go thru quarantine and screening?

Just finished watching the segment on NBC’s nighty news, the MSM’s public narrative put out concerning Trump’s alleged Covid lies. Everything they quoted backing their claims was either unrelated or taken out of context, then they walked out Chuck Todd to restate their fabrication.

It’s amazing watching the Media Matters brigade here on these forums spinning today’s narrative, you guys are good, get it out before the News.

What you said is nothing to do with anything.

He was down playing and xeno-mongering to make up a word. Trump was not quelling fears, he was creating dangerous confusion.

The Chinese had no particular issue with travel bans, the EU was doing the same, even before. It was a necessity. Other neighbouring countries acted even sooner.

Trump made the "just a flu bro" morons we had to put up with.

He wasn't fear mongering about the dangers of the virus as he should have instead saying it would just go away in the summer.
