A recent poll released by Rasmussen Reports showed that President Trump’s approval rating has plummeted amid the partial government shutdown.

The Rasmussen Reports’ daily Presidential Tracking Poll on Monday posted a 43% approval rating for the president, his lowest since January 2018.

It notes: “The president’s overall job approval rating has been falling since his Oval Office address last week calling for enhanced border security and the building of a wall to help stop illegal immigration.”

After 30 days of furlough the President can change the classification of the furlough from "emergency" to "administrative" and begin Reduction In Force. The constitution gives our President massive administrative powers for this exact type of contingency.

Pelosi has the power to stop Trump from walking into the House of Representatives and delivering a speech, but she can’t stop him from making his case for the border wall in prime time. Just consider the address he delivered from the Resolute Desk last week.
