Treyvon Martin issue is starting to irritate the hell out of me

I read today on Drudge that the Black Panthers offered a bounty for the "capture" of Zimmerman. I don't know if that is just incitement or if they mean to harm him but it sort of justifies the police keeping his/her ID secret.
The Sanford PD hasn't done things to cover their own asses. It seems to me that they've behaved "by the book".
I also read that the DOJ might bring charges and is doing their own investigation.
This 'secret eyewitness' is 911 caller #4 out of 8. Nowhere does this eywitness state that Zimmerman was walking back to his truck and Martin attacked him.
This witness states that he saw Martin on top of Zimmerman hitting him and Zimmerman was screaming for help. This witness did not see the start of the fight and only went to look because he heard Zimmerman screaming from the ground.
Yes, this witness's statement did agree with the explanation that Zimmerman was on the ground being punched. This also aligned with Zimmerman's injuries. The now discredited Sandord police did state that this witness was part of the reason Zimmerman was released and given his weapon back. This action with the weapon by police demonstrated how inept the Sandford police department was, and violated state requirements that guns used in shooting deaths must be retained and tested.
And some of the idiots on this forum want states rights. Yep, fuck that, all day.

So your link NEVER say Zimmerman keep following that boy when they tell him no. But your link say, "And from that moment to the shooting, details are few."
So why does your link say details are few? Why they forget the "detail" Zimmerman follow that boy when the 911 tell him NO?
I agree with you that the Black Panthers offering a bounty to arrest Zimmerman is absurd.
The Sanford police department admitted that they failed to properly handle this case to the town council. This why the police chief has been removed from office after a 'no confidence' vote from the council.
I think that the DOJ will have a very difficult task making a bias case out of this - as admitted by Martin's attorney.
There are probably only a few people who saw this in a residential neighborhood. Maybe there are no more facts or witnesses to be found.
Shouldn't they question the living party to the event to hear his side of what happened? They have the 911 tape to compare his statments to.
I think you have that backwards. Marting was on top of Zimmerman pounding him. Who says they stopped there?
They interviewed witnesses, etc. What other facts are there? Maybe they should have been more thorough but they were probably content that they had the facts correctly after interviewing several partial witnesses.
We know he was followed. No one disputes that.
Nobody requested a copy maybe?
I don't know why the missing person report was not linked to the dead Martin kid. That is shameful but has no bearing on the guilt or innocence of Zimmerman.
A fancyful headline - but the explanation in the articles only state that the witness saw Martin on top of Zimmerman on the ground. The witness never states that he saw the start of the confrontation or that Zimmerman was walking back to his truck when attacked.
