Tony is desperate

Look, man, the electoral college is a vestige of a time gone by but it is still the law of the land and all presidential candidates are elected within it.

Trying to rewrite history or espouse some poorly thought out benefits of the EC does no one any good.
This is what Idiot Dems normally then resort to. When faced with facts, they then try to project their inadequacies onto the other side. It's a Massive Classic Liberal Misdirect move (MCLM). ----The fact remains however, that The Electoral College was a great thing at the start of the country and it's a great thing now. If A Democrat were elected without the popular vote, I would say the same thing. It levels the playing field and helps to avoid mob rule.

Trump odds improved to 8/11 or -125 to -150 depending on where you look.

sigh. Tony Worked so hard for $7.5 an hour spamming ET. At the end it’s 4 more years of tears.

folks. Come over to the winners camp.
you claim that you don't do personal attacks but yet you start a thread with an aim to pick on someone here. what a fucking low life piece a shit fake fuck you are.

The EC does not level the playing field, as a matter of fact it ensures the vast amount of elections and policies are geared toward only a handful of states.

There are more republicans in California and New York than you think. Just like there are more democrats in Texas and Georgia than democrats think.

Removing the 100 senators from the electoral college count would go a long way. It would open the entire country and even make third party candidates viable.

I think you have a mental problem that blocks you from having an intelligent conversation.

I said to you 2 or 3 times that Red states are the poorest in the country so the GOP has just as much a vested interest in supporting welfare for voter support as Dems. Then you come back with drivel as though you chose not to read my post.

Also you mentally do not understand how popular votes work in State elections.

So try not to do this:

And i said to you that poor people are overwhelmingly Democrats....
It's like you don't understand that 1 + 1 = 2...

It's The United States of America, not the United Peoples of America. States have votes in electing a president------people do not.
Another solution would be to have State Legislatures cast ballots for president. This would also level the playing field and help avoid mob rule. We used to have this with regard to Senators as they were appointed by State Legislatures and thus gave the State Legislature a voice in Congreff. Hopefully , we can return to this during the Article V Convention of States soon. The direct election of Senators change was one of the worst things that has ever happened to this country.

Removing the 100 Senators would be a disaster as there would then be no full check on the large states. Your postings are misguided.

False. The EC ensures that candidates will pay attention to the smaller states. Note how Trump went to Maine and Wisconsin etc. ----If the EC were abolished, there would be no reason to go anywhere other than TX, CA, NY, FL, IL. thus ensuring than only a handful of states would be guiding the country. ---GET RIGHT----

Hey B1... this is a stupid question probably, but a bud asked me... Trump hater lol, but a bud all the same... he asked why are each state's electoral college votes all or none?

Like say in CA Hillary got 70% of the popular vote... why not give her 39 EC votes (70% of 55) and Trump gets 16?
Inquiring minds...
