Please don't entertain this BS. Chinese exploited by Americans? What a joke... Last time during the railway construction perhaps. Like 150 years ago. China made up for that with lies and theft on a massive scale. Re other countries like Vietnam or Cambodia or Thailand, those countries would be absolute dumps if multinationals were not operating there and creating mass employment. It's the job of those countries to move up the value chain not the job of America or Europe. But instead those countries, or should I say the corrupt cronies on top, rather continue to enrich themselves via running large scale prostitution operations and drug chemical shipments. We have to stop taking responsibility for all the ills of the world. We can enforce our companies to adhere to certain minimum standards even when operating abroad, I am all in for this. Even if a third world country does not enforce a minimum wage perhaps our nations can enforce one for our corporations. It will make our corporations think twice whether it is beneficial to run sweatshops in Thailand or Cambodia or Bangladesh or rather produce at home.
What I am saying is that I am all for not taking responsibility for all the ills of the world but at the same time I also favor more enforcement of the behavior we should be responsible for. Not sure this explanation makes sense...

How is it exploitation? Are American companies forcing them to work?
