‘The walls are closing in’: Trump spent day ‘fuming’ at indictments as aides walked corridors in fear

On Monday morning, as the country waited for the identity of special counsel Robert Mueller’s subpoena recipients to be revealed, President Donald Trump allegedly holed up in his White House residence to wait out the storm.

According to sources close the president who spoke with The Washington Post, Trump frustrated his staff by being late to work at the Oval Office. Instead, he “spent the morning playing fuming media critic, legal analyst and crisis communications strategist” along with making calls to his lawyers “repeatedly.”

Although White House special counsel Ty Cobb said Trump is “spending all of his time on presidential work,” sources close to the president said his “anger Monday was visible to those who interacted with him, and the mood in the corridors of the White House was one of weariness and fear of the unknown.”

“The walls are closing in,” a senior Republican close to White House staffers told the Post. “Everyone is freaking out.”
 
Howard Stern will have been partly right though now Trump has to worry about his kids being charged etc., he will probably hang on.

"“He’s sitting in the f--ing White House dreaming about getting to Mar-a-Lago, where he was,” Stern said.

“Believe me, nobody wanted Hillary to win more than Donald Trump. He didn’t need this. He’s got the kind of life you dream of,” Stern said in a conversation with co-host Robin Quivers.

Stern said if he were Trump, he “would create a health crisis and resign over it.”

When a caller argued that it wasn’t about fame or money for Trump, but rather a genuine devotion to the United States, Stern replied, “I’m not saying that Trump doesn’t care about the country, I’m not saying any of that. I think all of it was motivated by caring and all of that. But at the end of the day, he’s trapped at the White House.”

Yes but if they bring down Tony Podesta with them, it will all be good.

In fact, I would trade that, take Podesta along with the entire Trump admin. Fair deal.
 
I heard that Trump is going to resign later today.

I think "the undisclosed source" said that it wont be until after lunch because they are having Taco Tuesday at the White House and Trump does not want to miss that. Especially on Halloween, when he likes to dress up like an illegal immigrant and wear his sombrero.

If I hear anything more on this I will post it.

Oh, it is not over by a longshot. He will be spinning around for months trying to find something. It is the dems that think it is over for Trump because Mannafort is in trouble for money laundering ten years ago in the Seychelles or some frigging thing. No. it isn't. You gonna be gyrating around for months and years trying to bring Trump down and getting giddy over some staffer taking it up the bo-bo.

That;s fine. Gonna be playin that game myself as soon as we get going with the dems. What about Hillary?
