Sun can make vitamin D in the body (BUT NOT ENOUGH) You have to eat food with this too.
Darker the skin, the more time with the sun to make this.
Fish is good source, but you say you do or do not eat fish?
Milk fortified is good (not for me)
Cereal fortified is good too.
So you get enough of this? This is important to health.:)

You know the recommend is about 5 mcg for the day.(more for female pregnancy) I know you know this because you read about nutrition.
You do not eat cheese, or fish, or milk?
You take a supplement?

For vegetarians vitamin D is not enough sometime. Maybe you get enough, maybe you do not.

There have been new studies that have come out that say Vit D is very important for health. But going out in the Sun too much can cause melanoma. Get your Vit D from animal products! Oh yeah!

you want to talk research now.. you never gave 2 shits about it otherwise actually you disparage scientific study :D

More studies over last 40 yrs that animal fat is bad for you. take a vit D supp if you think you are not getting enough.
