The Science Is Settled

typically leftist troll moron response from db... again.

most of the anti vaxxers seem to be overly self indulgent leftists or people who have already had a child with autism... at least here in California.

So if Republicans don't want to vaccinate their children, maybe they'll wind up like the Shakers . . .

interesting that fox news... reported this response to their story from Kennedy... today...

its amazing how often you et pre- fascist leftist are so often crazy and wrong at the same time.
you all need to learn to wait for the facts before you jump to govt loving conclusions.

Kennedy is not a Republican.

This thread was started on the pretext that if "the science is settled", as is the battle cry of non scientists like Obama and fc, then how does an admitted AGW nutter like Kennedy have the temerity to doubt the science of vaccinating children screaming the science is not settled while also screaming the science is settled about AGW? Yes, two different subjects, but you can't stand there doubting science facts (vaccines have considerable tested results, yrs actually) while adhering to science theories (whereas AGW relies on every changing computer models). This thread was about hypocrisy.

And as a parent who has a CWA, one has to question the cocktail of vaccines that are given today as opposed to the way they were administered 40 yrs ago (how many autism cases were diagnosed when you were a kid?). Like Tsing, I believe parents should space out the vaccines rather than 14 shots in yr 1 (yes, 14 different and repeat shots) which was a choice I made on my second born.

But bottom line, parents should not be so stupid as to withhold vaccines and expect the rest of us to accept you into our community.

assuming CWA means child with autism... I am sorry you have to deal with these unfeeling, non thinking, govt loving pre fascists. In fact I am sorry we all have to deal with so many of them.

When I first heard it I thought it meant "Cute White Ass". And I thanked them.

:D

Can you imagine what the lawsuits would look like if there was ever evidence found that supported the camp of the anti-vaccine crowd? For that reason alone, I can't believe the subject will ever get a fair review.

My personal belief is that my kids gets his vaccines, but not in the cocktails the doc recommends. He gets them one at a time, over a longer period than suggested. A little body was not designed to take 10 vaccines at once simply because it is cost effective. I don't care if I have to pay more.
Fine, just make sure your kid gets vaccinated, and don't wait too long to get the full battery of recommended vaccines. That could be especially dangerous in light of the increasing number of selfish, irresponsible parents that are not allowing their kids to be vaccinated. By the way, not just girls, but all boys too, should get the Merck HPV vaccine, by Junior High age, which is is not yet routine, but should be.

My son is completely vaccinated. I just did it on my schedule and not all on one day.

So to sum up.
Those not vaccinating: irresponsibly dangerous
Those not combination vaccinating: much less dangerous, but taking more risk than need be.

Both similar in as far as conspiracies and anti-science mistrust go.

To sum up a response:

Agreed, not vaccinating is dangerous.
Not combination vaccinating, not dangerous and better to err on side of caution.

Thanks!
