THE REAL REASON THE AMERICAN DREAM IS UNRAVELING

Whatever.
whatever means my idea is the government is a referee, not a coach or a gambler (with my money) with an interest in the game.

We have 24 hours, three networks constantly talking about the government. How would you like 3 sports networks talking about the referees? There is no game anymore, it is just arguments between the referees. They are all crooked and on the take. The only possible way to neuter them is force them to adhere to a balanced budget. They are not smart enough to borrow money like a well thought out intelligent investor or business owner.

they should be in American life exactly what the refs in the NCAA tournament are in real life...just there to enforce the rules we have all voted on.

Our refs can't borrow points to make the side they like win, but that's what our government does.

One side wants better rules to make the game fair. The other side says the rules are already fair. So that is the battle between the progressives who want change and the conservatives who want to move on.

Ronald Reagan was a great man and the best President ever.
Brother Ricci, you already know better than to try your little games on BSAM.
I never said Reagan was perfect.
So, you can carry your petty bullshit and peddle it someplace else.
Perfect? Lmao, you just got done quoting Reagan re government spending too much, and he spent huge.

Yes sir...That's exactly what I mean.
(Hint: The country should live within its means and always have an emergency fund on standby.)
Call me crazy, bro.

(Because of the actions of the D.C. whores, though, we are hopelessly in debt.
The debt will NEVER be paid off.
We will declare bankruptcy and start a new currency in the not so distant future.
But that's a whole nother story for a whole nother thread.)

But, do yourself a BIG favor and start listening to Dave Ramsey, one of the smarter and richer people in the USA.
He can be found all over your radio and computer screen.
I've heard him. The advice he gives is suitable for the financially naive and for those who have trouble managing their money. But for those who understand money, interest rates, and inflation it is sometimes bad advice. For example: except under extenuating circumstances, one should never pay off a mortgage whose interest rate is below the inflation rate.

Government finance, for those countries that issue their own currency, and especially for a country whose currency is a reserve currency, is different from personal finances. What money is spent on is equally, and perhaps more, important than how much is spent.

He made America a debtor nation for the first time in its history, thanks to his massive spending (and borrowing from the Chinese).
just exactly how do you borrow from a Chinaman? Do you issue a bond with a caveat, "Irish Need not Apply."?

Interest = a bad thing.
Proberbs 22:7...The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.

(Yes, Dave Ramsey says it is okay to borrow money for a home.)
But, why would you give your money to a stranger, unless, of course, you had no other choice.
Hey...why not send it to some poster on ET, if you just like giving it away???:)

Many people are buying houses and cars, but they really can't afford them.

I got to live within my means, so should those thieves in D.C. as they "represent" the citizens.
