When the Founders said that "all men are created equal" they didn't mean with equal abilities or equal outcomes. They meant with equal rights.

To RCG, they also knew it would take time before that would eventually apply to all men but they set forth the principal. If they hadn't you would still be a slave.

I owe to those founders who wanted slavery killed at the time of the declaration. But if there was going to be a United States, they had to give in on that one. The Liberals had to concede to the Conservatives.
