The delta variant has a mutation that’s worrying experts: Here’s what we know so far

And yet you fail to state the large majority of Covid cases, hospitalizations and deaths are in the unvaccinated — as well as recent studies showing the vaccinated are less infectious than the unvaccinated. Somehow all of this has escaped your twisted narrative.

I've posted maybe +20 statistical charts of North America hospital statistics nationally and involving about 15 states I'm interested in.
  • Overwhelmingly here in North America the hospitalization, ICU admission and Death have been those that were not vaccinated (still is).
In addition, data statistics of many states Pediatric hospitals that came dangerously close to being overwhelm by children with severe Covid infection that could not be vaccinated at the time...
  • Scary situation for Parents to see their child in the ICU although it was rare that they died. I think it was the last straw (irresponsible society) that panic the government into vaccine mandates after the arrival of the Delta Variant.
Regardless, the above is mute considering overall the vaccination and vaccine mandates have been working now...resulting in our overall numbers are declining here in North America.

In contrast, other countries had a similar decline in their Covid numbers but they could not keep the numbers down because they open up and did not have mandates in place.

Now those countries have increasing numbers again such as the U.K. and its not a surprise that there's a mutated virus that scientists are watching closely that was birth in the United Kingdom. In fact, these countries are panicking too via trying to use vaccination passports to keep Covid from entering their country.

So you updated your post and provided a study.

Maybe you need to actually read the f@cking study which actually outlines the importance of vaccination while outlining the shortcomings of study itself. Do I need to start quoting text from the study so you understand.

I read the f@cking study...... it reads exactly as the headline.

From the article

Findings
At the country-level, there appears to be no discernable relationship between percentage of population fully vaccinated and new COVID-19 cases in the last 7 days (Fig. 1). In fact, the trend line suggests a marginally positive association such that countries with higher percentage of population fully vaccinated have higher COVID-19 cases per 1 million people. Notably, Israel with over 60% of their population fully vaccinated had the highest COVID-19 cases per 1 million people in the last 7 days. The lack of a meaningful association between percentage population fully vaccinated and new COVID-19 cases is further exemplified, for instance, by comparison of Iceland and Portugal. Both countries have over 75% of their population fully vaccinated and have more COVID-19 cases per 1 million people than countries such as Vietnam and South Africa that have around 10% of their population fully vaccinated.

I suggest you read the study.

The issue is that the border has been closed...there's no travel involving Europe.

Here's another hypothetical example, currently, land travel from Canada to the United State is not possible (its closed) until November 8th. If someone states that a Canadian had produced a mutated Covid virus and then drove into the U.S. and infected a few people...

I will naturally ask how is that possible when land travel is not possible?

OK...not a great example but my point.

Possible Answer - Travel between the countries were not possible. It's possible that someone was exempt for travel between the countries regardless to their vaccination status along with possibly having a faked Covid negative test or not tested at all in those critical 3 days prior to travel.

They then interacted among family and friends upon arrival...that's how the mutated virus travel from the U.K. to the United States. :D

Note: You posted the study before in another thread and I responded to its summary. Please read my prior reply to the article of the study @ https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/latest-vaccine-news.343809/page-172#post-5476873

I read your reply. The study doesn’t state vaccines are unwarranted or unnecessary. It says in summary

From the article

In summary, even as efforts should be made to encourage populations to get vaccinated it should be done so with humility and respect. Stigmatizing populations can do more harm than good.

It goes on to say.

Importantly, other non-pharmacological prevention efforts (e.g., the importance of basic public health hygiene with regards to maintaining safe distance or handwashing, promoting better frequent and cheaper forms of testing) needs to be renewed in order to strike the balance of learning to live with COVID-19 in the same manner we continue to live a 100 years later with various seasonal alterations of the 1918 Influenza virus.

The report shows there’s no correlation between the rate of Covid cases and the vaccination rate.

First you need to ask if a study covering a mere 7 day period in its data set has any pertinence or is it too limited in scope. Get back to us on this and then you can answer the points from WRB on the other thread regarding this study.

Your conclusion is inaccurate about the summary.
  • In contrast, I recommend you stick to the facts involving the United States of America. You do live in the United States...correct ???
My point, our vaccination here has many studies that there's a correlation between the rate of hospitalization / deaths and the vaccination rate...the key words are hospitalization / deaths.

As I said before to you in the recent past, don't be fooled by a completely different environment in other countries unless you live there involving when Covidiots came to this forum about the problems in India and they could not (still can not) figure out why its different here in North America...Canada and the United States.
  • You need to grow up and deal with the facts here in North America...our Covid numbers are declining due to vaccination and vaccine mandates. Just as important, our hospitalizations, ICU admissions and Deaths have primarily been those not vaccinated.
If you deal with the above facts, you'll be able to navigate this Pandemic appropriately here in North America. I know the above facts not because of my immunology background, not because my siblings work in the medical field in which we have weekly tele-conference, not because my girlfriend is a head ICU nurse...
  • Its because I don't ignore the facts about our Vaccines and Covid numbers here in North America.
It is one of several reasons why I'm fully vaccinated and proud that I'm doing my part to not only to beat Covid...to protect my children and my friends.

In about a year there should be no more mandates except for air travel that will have vaccination passports for a few more years...if we're lucky. The borders for land travel will open soon between Canada / United States...I'm looking forward to getting back to my normal.

Thanks to vaccination here in North America.

The study answers all yours and WRB’s questions.

And yet the study does not delve into why over 90% of the Covid cases, hospitalizations and deaths are unvaccinated. Count that on your fingers.

Covid death rate is higher under Biden than Trump.

Another "extraordinary success" by Biden.

Probably Psaki will say that "we welcome the competition."

This is unvaccinated white Republicans eliminating themselves voluntarily from the gene pool for the most part. They chose not to be vaccinated — despite easy availability of the vaccine — and this is the result.

So the Great Uniter only unites democrats?

And even that is not going well. Total failure there too, or as Joe and Psaki would say "an extraordinary success."

Joe told us that no one would have died from covid if he had been president. Now more are dying... Paul Mannafort's taxes.......Stormy Daniels.......Michael Cohen......Russians.

Better be careful, he might start falling in the polls........giggle.
