“Liability protection?”. Sounds like a justification for suppressing free speech. Who determines what is misleading information? Pharmaceutical companies who spend billions of dollars in lobbying, advertising, and their extensive social media presence? Are pharmaceutical companies more about health or profits? The AMA and US based pharmaceuticals have been very effective at protecting against foreign competition, including in some cases, superior foreign products. How would you characterize mandatory health insurance, aka the forced purchase of a product?

May I respectfully suggest you take the time to look at the issues with more depth before getting on board with mandated vaccines, require health insurance purchases, and censorship.

Its never been about eliminating Covid from the world, just managing it until it hopefully mutates into a contagious but fairly harmless enough version along with the many other coronavirus that make up the over 200 we term a "cold".

If you are immunised and come on contact with a variant, your immune system will still get to work on it 'naturally'. It all depends on how quickly its mopped up. Its one a one or the other thing.

Knowing what you don't know along with knowing what you do know is what makes a successful trader. All this nonsense from people over the virus springs from the same human flaw that drives the trading industry, people who don't have a clue but don't know they don't taking rubbish.

Sorry, your apparent representation of “Superior knowledge” is not going to cut it here. The underlying issue is whether it is appropriate for the Government directly, or indirectly through employers, mandate vaccinations for a pathogen of moderate, at best, effects.

Through my roommates and contacts at the company I am contracted to, I know several people of working class age who have died or who had serious, permanent organ damage. In my travels, I have talked to many healthcare professionals and have asked their opinions. I have spent many hours researching Covid, including reading various studies. I am more informed than most on Covid, probably including you. I can fairly assess the seriousness of Covid and have taken action appropriate to its seriousness. If you want a two-shot regimen, a booster, and annual or semi annual shots of foreign proteins injected into your bloodstream, be my guest. Perhaps the an IV vaccine “Solution” is in your future.

For others, risking a Covid infection is ok and it should be their choice. Nothing I’m suggests PPE and other protective measures should not be employed where appropriate.

(About 75% of them are Covid-related, and about 95% of those aren't vaccinated, ≅70%.) This implies that about 65% of ER visits and admissions were preventable with the vaccine (given a hugely conservative 1/20 risk of hospitalization vaccinated vs not). Some people with other medical conditions are worse or dying from lack of care during waves (i.e. right now) because of the strain Covid is inflicting on hospitals, none of which dare kick out a few willfully unvaccinated patients to make room for those who are vaccinated, can't for medical or work reasons, or have unrelated issues needing care.

If some people such as yourself who are "willing to risk it" without vaccination, do stay home to minimize spreading the thing, great, that's already MUCH better than the anti-mask folks (some violently so). Unfortunately though, those unvaccinated by choice who do contract Covid and get serious symptoms, tend to want medical care instead of waiting out this "moderate cold" at home and they clog up the medical system for the rest of us right now.

So refusing vaccination is NOT a personal choice, it's a social one and shows a total lack of human empathy.

A hospital in Arizona imposes a $5.00 out of pocket ER surcharge and ER admissions drop by 95%. Sure some hospitals have been overwhelmed. Some of those patients had a serious case of Covid.

Unfortunately, many quoted statistics are flawed. It seems too many people in the US have either been vaccinated or already have Covid immunity or some level of protection through previous infection, or both, for us to see the current reported level of Covid case increases. This suggests vaccine effectiveness or even prior Covid infection does not confer much protection against the current dominant delta variant of Covid. It makes sense that cold and flu like viruses mutate faster than vaccine manufacturers can keep up. Somehow a “Booster” using a obsolete or at least a vaccination based on a earlier variant makes sense? All the risks of a vaccine with only some of the efficacy of a vaccine than is based on the current active Covid strain, if we had it?

I would be doing society no favors by willingly exposing myself to undefined vaccine risks without compelling benefits, for a virus that is a moderate risk hazard overall.
