The billionaire's way to die: 12K feet underwater

How did you arrive at that cutoff point?

Well I'm just past 50 and I passed the cutoff yesterday putting in heavy 6 AWG copper cable to a boiler squeezing into some very tight spaces, sometimes head first that also required a lot of knees on concrete time like a cruel game of Twister.

I was alone so I was allowed to go full Matthew McConnaheyhey cursing my situation. At one point I shouted "all gods are bastards!" hoping a lightning strike to the cable might end it without me having to straighten up to get the tool I left just out of reach for the third time.

Happy birthday! Do you now feel, as Pekelo would have you believe, that you're running on fumes going forward?

I'll be entering my golden years in August and I'm just getting started, save for a couple shoulder injuries that haven't stopped me despite complete tendon tears and partial bicep tears.

The most dangerous thing Elon has ever done is offering the cage fight with Zuck. :)

Sir Richard has done quite a few dangerous stuff, but he is still alive, so he is either lucky or good at risk assessment. He is also 72, so at that age, it isn't so bad going out. That is why I don't care for the navy expert dying at 77, not to mention this was his 30th trip to the Titanic. Eventually the numbers catch up with you.

But yeah, the Navy knew what happened and "forgot" to tell to the Coast Guard.

Navy told the Coast Guard an insider said. Coast Guard knew the search and rescue was unnecessary.

Yes. Quite honestly I have done enough in this life to have a left knee that's been shot/caught fragments three times and deserves to not be supporting my frame in agonies*.. More than enough adventures and scars to already feel 50 * 2. :)

*yes.. I have knee pads. I forgot to bring them to my friend's house because I'm fifty and forgetful.

I guess I've been living a sheltered life. It's the shell. Except when my arms came out to play.
