Here is my summary of your day.
1. Nothing is getting posted.
My conclusion. The planning over the weekend isn't happening.
2. No pm or anything about what is going on.
My conclusion: you are not going to do any work on Intermdiate for the day.
3. A mess starts to appear.
My conclusion: something serious is wrong
4. The story of the day appears:
a. Its deja vu all over again. See color printer past and now no RAM in computer.
b. Its deja vu all over again. See this blotter and prior blotter.
My interjection: I SAW that comment of yours about not trading Friday the perfectly skilled day. I PASSED on suggesting that doing several things at once that are new is a BAD idea.
c. Its deja vu all over again. Entry exit trading is what YOU are GOING TO BE DOING as you are continually freaked out.
My comment: you logged one way and were in the market for RTH a totals of 68 minutes. All the while your computer is screwed up and YOU KNOW THAT YOU KNOW IT IS SCREWED UP.
d. Its deja vu all over again. You have NO real time in on doing drills and you THINK you can trade. You are TOO SMART and smarter than everyone else in the world.
e. You DO NOT KNOW what is the right side of the market.
f. You DO NOT KNOW that what you are doing is learning failure.
My comment: I am not longer patient. You, fundamentally cannot reason to find out you have a problem. Obviously you did not catch on to very much at all.
1. To trade you have to see the market. You can't; you persistently are not equipped.
2. You KNOW that you need at least seven more windows on multiple screens to go through boot camp.
3. You KNEW that coclor was involved in seeing the markets.
you KNOW you do not have a platform that is going to work.
4. You KNOW that those who have gone before you, that they KNOW they have to work.
5. You KNOW that to go from one level to another YOU have to self test to be sure YOU have the FOUNDATION, and each and every building blocks.
6. You KNOW my posts are nothing that have any value from reading. today I was just dawdling along hoping to see something show up. It did.
Today you lost a day. Today you got the old CW fear, anxiety and anger back full force. It is not going to go away. There is NO way I am going to hook you up to biofeeback and work through the crap with you.
What a great return on my investment of time. I know others got something out of this but your appraoch to working with someone is unsatisfactory.

I 'translated' this statement as meaning it was unacceptable to continue paper-trading. I was apprehensive about ...doing several things at once that are new... but had faith in your tutelage.
I posted my two-traverse slice (+logs), and only had three traverses by the end of the day.
I had not anticipated how RAM-intensive the NT platform (which is the only platform, to my knowledge, to have Pepe's tools) would be with an added chart. I did not know that I would need seven more windows on multiple screens.
I'm sorry if I've disappointed you.
Neoxx. There was a discussion recently on the "Software Used to ...." thread addressing this problem with NT which you may find useful to check out. I have a dual core CPI with 4 gigs of RAM and was still having problems. The solution for me was to bag NT and go with TN. I am not saying this is the only solution but it worked for me.

Thanks, Callmate. After talking with a couple of better-informed people, it doesn't seem as though the problem is a lack of RAM or technical specs, but rather the platform itself. I like the Ninjatrader platform, and clearly a number of the group (including Mr Black, Pepe, Palinuro, bi9foot and Romanus) are successfuly using it. A number of streamlining suggestions and work-arounds have been made. I'll try those, and should they fail, will switch to TradeNavigator which I downloaded and configured a few weeks ago, and which seems an equally popular option (used by Spydertrader, Ezzy, Guavaman, ljyoung and others).
I've got two screens and (now discontinued) video cards. Tums has made some suggestions - including Matrox triple head2go (sp?) - for augmenting my screen capacity.
He has also given me some very helpful advice on the requisite technical specifications for a second system (execution-only), which I intend to purchase shortly. I think I'll also need to invest in a backup power system and 2nd ISP, just to cover all the bases.
I'm not the most tech savvy so all advice has been invaluable, and I am thankful to everyone who has made suggestions.
