Quote from marketsurfer:
what are you 12 years old, tdog? i NEVER said that there is no value in subjective TA. Testable, objective TA is what can be shown via testing not to offer any edge.
I trade using Price and Volume. Certainly, using such input values qualifies one as using 'TA' for trading in whatever form or definition you prefer.
As one of the few people to whom I have sent a trade execution report, you
know that I trade profitably. In addition, other members of this web site have stated they have used the
same methods as I (as described in my futures Journal) to trade profitably. Finally, on several occasions you have entered the ET Chat room in an effort to solicit opinions with respect to Market Direction. On
each occasion I have answered your request, the market followed the exact direction foretold to you (by me) in advance. On one of those occasions, you acknowledged the very same
in this thread.
Now, given that a) you have seen the results of my trading in digital form and those results were profitable, b) you have seen me make live trade 'calls' profitably, c) other (long time and respected members of this web site) individuals have stated they too use these same methods profitably, and finally d) these methods
do fall under the heading of 'TA', how is it you can continue this discussion when you
know your position to be untenable?
BTW, there is
nothing subjective about the methods I use. Everything is binary.
