Now let's discuss the actual issue - the issue was that the NFL owners didn't have such a rule BEFORE the players start kneeling, the rules were made under pressure from right wing racist morons led by the Russian puppet in the WH who couldn't and didn't want to understand what the players were protesting. Even then, if the owners did fire players for protesting after the rules were made, it's their right and unlike dumb right wing teachers, they are free to find talented players as replacements. The teacher is a paid employee of the organization, the organization makes the rules and if you have problems with the organization rules then you are free to leave and find another organization like the Westboro baptist church to continue your career. The teacher isn't free to make his own rules when there is a code of conduct prepared by the organization that pays the bills.
