%%LOL. I don't think you really get what happened. I DID get the fill, but they did not post it to my account for about 10 - 15 minutes. So I was unable to do anything with the filled order. It then went against me. And I DID call. It took over a half hour for them to answer my call. I was on hold when I was finally able to see the filled order and sell at a loss.
Sounds right. Actually i have had that or like that happen once@ most any broker. [One time with IBKR also] I would also risk a stamp+ polite like, write them what happened. One time doesnt mean much, especially if thy give you a credit or partial credit, or refund the $400 or give you $200 or $400 AMTD stock.
15 minutes with a good trending stock or ETF would not cause me to blame a market maker or specialist. I see a very brief power blip about once a year, so brief my back up system never really worked like i thought it would- so i cant really blame anyone on that..............................................................................................
