Biden should redirect the funds that were illegally diverted from the Pentagon, for the non-existent wall expansion, to supporting this withdrawal. But either way, he got us out of an unwinnable war. Lots of politicians blathered about it, he got it done. This is a massive Biden victory.

Because you don't consider "our guys" to include any of the tens of thousands of Afghans who worked with the Americans and who are now hopelessly trapped there. Some are queued up at the airport and they will probably make it out but there are thousands who were/are dependent on further processing, arrival from other towns, etc which was expected to happen over the longer withdrawal plan. Don't shiite yourself. Many of them are as good as dead now or trapped there. Even if/when the extra troops arrive to protect the Americans and the airport the whole process of additional people being processed and their ability to move from other towns to Kabul is over.

Biden's shit-show is directly responsible their decapitation. Afghans who worked with Americans in life and death situations for years.

As I said, even the arrival of more troops will not fix that other than to help with those who were ready by today. Otherwise, Kabul airport is now just an island in the middle of Talibanville. No one is coming to apply for a visa or amnesty from some village next week. Nevermind that the fucking Taliban have occupied the embassy and the American flag has been replaced with a burkha or something.
