Yeah was think about this yesterday. Anyone who dies, shouldnt be that many, give their family several million in compensation, depending on how much they earn and how many dependants they got. Would be a lot cheaper than the trillions being spent currently.

Actually the article below mentions "The vast majority of fatalities" occuring in nursing homes, so well over half. It also mentions an estimate of 30% of Stockholm population being immune by now, not sure how they came up with that number.
Again, authorities don t seem to plan to close bars and restaurants like misquoted above, at least as long as they apply the new self distancing guidelines/regulations. And from memory the official interviewed on this topic talked about the police giving stark reminder or warning to the restaurants at fault rather than close them quickly.
Here in Spain sunday was the first time in 6 weeks kids were allowed outside their house, still having to follow a bunch of restrictions for those very limited outings, and it attracted a flurry of complaints that this was too much freedom and a danger to society, people should stay locked up. Much of the health personnel seems to follow that opinion, they like to be seen as heroes in a job they are not forced to do while most people have no choice, they are locked in and unable to work. Spain is going to need quite a while to recover, as the current mass mentality of basically "Better be a house pet than a human" is not helping

Yes, we are really doomed.

What a learning opportunity this was, i mean, everything, overall, public reaction & markets.
Some blood in the streets.
Things jumped of 2016 tops. Can it get harder than that.
Lot's of money to be made, next time it happens.
(still learning, watching, observing/analyzing)

Unfortunately, from Spain at least, it should be What a learning opportunity this IS, as life here is very far from normal, the government is considering allowing adults to go out for a stroll or individual exercise from next sunday, after 7 weeks lockdown than. If restrictions on kids are any good indication, that will mean within 1km from their house, 1 hour maximum, 9 am to 9pm only, no access to public playgrounds nor public gyms in parks and police around to harass people who get too close to each other. And this might be cancelled if there's too much trouble with those kids on a leash spreading death into society this week.
Normal life seems very far off indeed...

Yes, I'm rooting for Sweden, especially that would offer a way out of lockdowns for other countries, but their numbers might end up wishful thinking.

Hhmnn guess it depends on the country and personal attitude.
I couldn't care less & was still exercising in public places despite warnings and potential penalties.
We have begun first phase of ending the quarantine as well, most of the shops/business are open by now.
