Special counsel is investigating President Trump for obstruction of justice, new report says

A wise decision, no doubt...

In 2001, the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation awarded the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award to Ford for his pardon of Nixon.[9]In presenting the award to Ford, Senator Ted Kennedy said that he had initially been opposed to the pardon of Nixon, but later stated that history had proved Ford to have made the correct decision
The reason it took such courage is because Ford knew the pardon would most likely mean the end of his political career. To the common man the pardon meant that the law was not applied equally. If you were President you could commit serious crimes and not be punished for them. (Although some thought the disgrace was punishment enough.) Others thought Nixon's crimes were far more serious than ordinary crimes, because they were crimes committed against the nation.

What's hilarious is that you apparently believe what Trump tweets. The man is a pathological liar. The only things that come out of his mouth that are not lies are words written by others read from a teleprompter. When he speaks or tweets extemporaneously, we can count on whatever he is saying or tweeting being, with high probability, a lie. It's amazing!

You seem to be suffering from a serious case of TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome). If he was a pathological liar, as you state, and he tweets several times a day, every day, wouldn't you think that the MSM would be all over those tweets like hungry vultures?

Since you state he is a liar, do you have any proof? I mean, like all politicians are liars to some degree. What is different about Trump? That he is a business man, so he has to be held to higher standards?

Oh, they are! And not only are the tweeted lies nearly a continuous stream and reported on regularly in the mainstream media , but when he is not lying he's changing his opinion 180 deg, sometimes within twenty-four hours. Now every one is entitled to change their opinion, but about everything, multiple times a day, depending on your audience??? First Comey is highly competent guy who will put "crooked" Hillary behind bars. Then He's "doing a bad job" and needs to be fired. First Mueller is in line to become the next FBI Chief, then he is an incompetent ass leading a witch hunt. First the House has done a bang-up job in passing a replacement for Obamacare, then they passed a mean son of a bitch of a health care bill (And the latter was not meant as a compliment.) If a person wanted to,I don't, they could fill many pages with more of this Trump shit.

Oh, they are!
You and the people who think like you just do not understand what is really happening.

The more you guys attack Trump, the stronger he gets in the eyes of the people who support him. If you take into consideration that almost half of the country voted for him when his presidential abilities were still questionable, today his support numbers are much, much greater. Breibart's readership is up 59 percent year over year.

You guys think that attacking Trump is the answer. You should consult with Hillary about this approach.

This is not quite correct in my personal opinion. The first part is correct however do not make the mistake of assuming that Trumps detractors. such as myself, are not aware of this. We recognize that criticism of Trump only strengthens the allegiance of his followers.

The second part is incorrect in serious ways. Trumps support has actually, according to the most recent professional polls, declined a bit. In the election just past, the Democrats ran an unpopular candidate against Trump and yet he still lost the popular vote by a wide margin. He barely squeaked out, by the slimmest of margins, a victory in the Electoral college. (He lied about that of course!)

If the current opinion trend does not change rather dramatically between now and Fall of 2018, we can expect Democrat gains in both the House and Senate. It is possible that the House will be in control of the Democrats come January 3rd of 2019. November of 2020 is still a long ways off, but at present I'd want extremely favorable odds to but any money at all on Trump's re-election.

Among the five Presidents elected with a minority of the popular vote in U.S. History, only one was re-elected (G.W. Bush). In that instance, though Bush, in his first term, was technically a "minority President", he lost the popular vote by a hairs breadth. The election was a statistical tie in terms of the popular vote. On the other hand, Trump lost the popular vote against a very unpopular candidate by a wide margin.
