I did not make my statement based on the et. I based it on my experience of knowing quite a few profitable traders. Because of my offices location in La Jolla CA and because our clearing firm was in Chicago... and because of someone I knew ( I used to converse with him n ET and he knew everyone in the industry) ... I met a ton of profitable traders

That profitable traders are fiscally conservative would not be surprising to anyone who trades their own money.
You can be sure almost all profitable traders are fiscally conservative and despise increased income taxes because it eats away significantly at their trading capital. (until they get to crony level).

I disagree. Being anti more income taxes typically makes you anti big govt and pro liberty. Which makes the vast majority of the alt right.
I don't subscribe to the idea that the alt right is neo nazis and skin heads. I believe the alt right is libertarian and you can find their ideas by reading the authors on brietbart or listening to some of the ideas Rush Limbaugh champions.
The problem is that many of the "conservatives" of the past have just become establishment apologists. they are not really conservatives any more. Hence the birth of the alt right.
