It's not inconsistent with a variety of teachings. Which of those teachings one chooses to embrace is a matter of personal choice, not of which represents universal truth.

after the New Year we will talk about coincidence vs divine intervention

as a trader, I'm all for coincidence, but I just can't understand how anybody who has made so many bad decisions in life than I have can be so happy without some kind of devine intervention

I sleep just fine, but I wake up with so many bad memories, all my memories are bad, the only thing that helps is meditating on God

and that is why I don't like people proving He doesn't exist

All the irrelevant ranting aside, atheists couldn't care less what you believe or don't believe or need or don't need. What they do care about is having some other group's beliefs imposed on them without their consent.

I think you may be a little mistaken as to how powerful we are

who in their right mind still believes God exists?

only a few MIT professors are now saying it may be necessary for a God to keep the universe going
 
if you are a God fearing born again Christian, the first thing you teach your children is "Don't believe anything they teach you in school, especially if it is written in a textbook.'

if you are a democrat, you still believe in THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION
