Sessions Testimony

Gingrich is an enigma to me. He is well educated and smart, well versed on the Constitution, separation of powers, etc; yet he seems to have no aversion to chaos in politics and lacks, so far as I can tell, human empathy. He is regarded as the father of acrimony in our present day Congress, the originator of the idea that democrats and republicans should not get along, and if they did there was something amiss. He is the progenitor of government shutdowns, inefficiencies, brinksmanship and coercion. Between Mitch McConnell and Newt Gingrich, I don't know which is the teacher and which the pupil. Both are bad for the country.
Let me simplify it for you. The man is an asshole who speaks out of both sides of his mouth. Education doesn't alleviate this congenital defect.

lets ignore for a moment anyone outside the security agencies. Ignore the media, people on the left. Are you saying that all those in the security agencies who even testified and brought forward witness testimony in several hearings were all lying and making up stories? Are you saying that just because proof is not made available to the public but to the committee members (who apparently are all convinced by now that Russia at least heavily tried to influence the American 2016 election) that such proof does not exist?

I have no proof that these agencies were lying. But I follow the "innocent until proven guilty" belief that is supposed to be prevalent in our justice system. I have said - many times - that I would accept proof if it was given. Why is there none? After all this hoopla, there still is nothing at all showing any evidence. It is therefore, in my opinion, much more likely that this is an attempt to undermine, distract and discredit a sitting President so he cannot accomplish anything.

The only people who have brought forth claims are politically appointed members of agencies - many of which appointed by the previous administration. They have motive, and they have opportunity.

Do you honestly think that if there was clear and provable evidence that Trump colluded with the Russians, that someone would not show it to the world at this point? It would be the Holy Grail.

I understand. You lived too long in Russia. Now it's not possible for you to trust government. All government is suspect in your mind. I understand that.

It seems unlikely that Trump colluded with the Russians to hack the election. But it's certainly not out of the question. We won't know until many months hence, unless a "John Dean" comes forward. The investigation of Russian hacking is critically important regardless of whether Trump personally, or anyone else in his campaign, colluded with the Russians.

What Trump is worried about is that the investigation will uncover money laundering or other illegal financial activities he was involved in. The circumstantial evidence for this is overwhelming!!!

You're speaking to a brick wall. He was ready to indict the Clintons on nothing more than innuendo but presents himself as the living embodiment of blind justice, in overdrive and to a fault, when it comes to his horse (or in this case, horse's ass) in the race.

But what is entirely missing from Newt Gingrich is integrity. The article you posted where Gingrich, without shame, pimps for a job in the Trump administration, is one of the most amazing distortions of truth I have ever read.

Gingrich is regarded as the father of acrimony in our present day Congress, the originator, in modern times, of the idea that democrats and republicans should not get along, and if they did, there was something amiss. He is the progenitor of government shutdowns and consequent inefficiencies, brinksmanship and coercion. He is the organizer of gangs of politicians bent on destruction of institutions for personal gain. Between Mitch McConnell and Newt Gingrich, I don't know which is the teacher and which the pupil. Both are terribly bad for the country.
Similar to Gore. Idealistic and highly motivated by money. Fame is is simply a sales tool. Books are good.
