And if you try to subvert the investigation by discrediting the investigators (i.e., Nunes memo), then you can sidestep either the collection or eventual presentation of evidence. And, as you said, without evidence, there is only innocence. Heads you win, tails they lose.
Completely agree. The Nunes memo, whatever it says, is worthless unless there is proof of action behind it. If all it has is speculation, it is a waste of time.
I'm guessing that it has specific actions taken, which will be quite damning, but I cannot say for sure. That's why we should get to see it. From what I gather, it's coming out tomorrow. However, if the investigators are shown to have broken the law or manufactured evidence, then its a different ballgame.
