Russian sanctions approved by Congress halted by white house

And if you try to subvert the investigation by discrediting the investigators (i.e., Nunes memo), then you can sidestep either the collection or eventual presentation of evidence. And, as you said, without evidence, there is only innocence. Heads you win, tails they lose.

Completely agree. The Nunes memo, whatever it says, is worthless unless there is proof of action behind it. If all it has is speculation, it is a waste of time.

I'm guessing that it has specific actions taken, which will be quite damning, but I cannot say for sure. That's why we should get to see it. From what I gather, it's coming out tomorrow. However, if the investigators are shown to have broken the law or manufactured evidence, then its a different ballgame.

Let's see what the memo contains. I would guess that the contents of the memo are factual given the fact that as soon as Mr. Wray read it, Andy McCabe was shown the door. I'll reserve final judgement until I read the memo.

No, you need to wait until the underlying facts supporting the memo's conclusions are presented. Then you will have a fair and balanced picture. Wray had problems with the accuracy and validity of the memo.

We recently had to fend off a very serious attack on our election by a government. THE AMERICAN GOVERNENT.
Here you go, make yourself at home:

Sure, and Rosenstein can do some splainin too. And bring Comey back to give his view.

And bring McCabe back, although the last time he appeared before the Intel Committee, it was a disaster and he ended out giving notice that he was resigning in March two days later. But sure, every should be heard and should be cross-examined too. Wray is a director where more than half of the senior leadership are in deep shit and the more that comes out, the worse it gets. He wants to take it behind closed doors and manage it more carefully along with the IG. Too late for that. Rosenthal and McCabe stonewalled it for so long that the Committee does not want to play their game or get drawn into it.

Laissez les bon temps rouler.
