Russia & Ukraine

Glad to see you still have coffee.

Where there is coffee, there is hope.

I heard that McDonald's has re-opened in Ukraine. Not sure how smart that is. Many of the Russians may enlist just for a chance to go to the McDonald's in Kiev. Or maybe you could offer a free Bic Mac to any Russian who surrenders. Yeh, that could work too.

Most of russians that are in their troops are from areas where no "inside-house-toilet" is a norm. So they are happy with cat food. McD would be too harsh of a change to their diet. p.s. just had my bigtasty today)

The vatnik clowns here challenge me when I say "the Russians want to put the Soviet Union back together and do not even recognize the former republics as separate states.

Then they say "source"?

And I say, "how bout just picking any fucking day of the week and read something from Russian TV.

I just had a round of that with one of the resident vatniks here.

To which I say again: How bout reading the fucking news from State TV any day of the week. Such as what GWB has posted here today.

Ain't no cure for vatnik.

This has been pretty well discussed so I will keep it short, but Putin is getting very close to forcing his buddy Lukashenka into crossing into Ukraine. The plan appears to be that Putin will send Russian troops directly in to Ukraine with the goal of encircling the south of Kiev- and then form a pincer tactic by having Russian/Belarus troops come down to the north of Kiev.

Yet, the word from inside Belarus continues to be that there will be mass desertions.

Vlad, what are you doing, lad? What are you doing?

Amid Worries Over Russian Forces In Belarus, Former Security Officer Says Belarusian Conscripts Won’t Fight

“In general, the Belarusian Army partially supports Russia, but the majority [of soldiers], of course, do not,” he said. “But no one wants to fight. They hope it doesn’t come to that. The Belarusian Army has never been involved in any military actions since gaining independence” from the Soviet Union in 1991.

He said that if Belarussian commanders were to call a general mobilization, the vast majority of conscripts would look to avoid fighting.

“We talked with officers, and they say that if hostilities begin, then 90 percent of conscripts will think about how to desert,” Azarov said. “They won’t take part in hostilities. At least they will try not to take part.”

Look, I grew up in Ukraine in major city without "inside-house-toilet"

so exactly what's your point?

The number goes up daily...

40,000 of Russia's Wagner Group soldiers 'killed, missing or deserted'
80% of the soldiers, previously prisoners, provided by the Wagner group are reportedly dead, missing, surrendered or deserted.

yeah, true story

and this is why they catch men in Ukraine like wild animals on streets and send them to die to eastern ukraine by hundreds of thousands
and then they all get back like this and then they catch new ones
