Russia & Ukraine

Putin wants and has always wanted Ukraine and has stated that it has never been a sovereign state.

Thus, one argument by him is as good as another. They all come back to "I want it so, I am going for it when the going looks good."

Cuba 1962 analogy/chesnut the Putin apologist are seemingly required to use is complete bullshit and if anyone has a need to understand why then say so and I will give you the proper way of looking at it.

Heres the thing with those long range missiles, how many do they have if they’re using their new hypersonic missiles?

Just saying, you don’t normally break out something like that unless 1. The isklander or however you spell it is ineffective or 2. You’re running low on effective long range missiles because the Russians theoretically would not like for the west to have info on the newer missiles. Or not, who knows…

Bringing this back…

Neo-Nazis and Nazis are an incredibly important distinction. Word do matter.

Arguably that "underling" would be Vladimir Putin who stated in his speech to his nation to explain why he was doing "a special military action" in Ukraine:

"Your fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers did not fight the Nazi occupiers and did not defend our common Motherland to allow today’s neo-Nazis to seize power in Ukraine."

The second Ukraine signs an agreement that it won't join Nato nor the EU not a single bullet will be fired. Ukraine has not by far made this concession (yet), though it will.

I think what is paramount is getting Russia to stop killing Ukrainians. Russia committed the original sin here and Ukraine is the victim. Murdering someone is wrong but murdering someone in self defense is not. Ukraine using propaganda in pursuit of getting Russia to stop killing Ukrainians is A ok.

As far as us getting to the truth, that’s the truth. Those video montages and patriotic messages serve Ukrainian defense and Ukraine is right to defend itself.

Russias propaganda serves their murderous, imperialist offense and they are wrong for it.

What we pursue is different. I do not believe in the ghost of Kyiv but I also know it serves a purpose. It gives people under attack hope and I am ok with that.

Ukraine's best option is to not negotiate whatsoballsout and continue this fight. Do not let Putin get off the hook here.
