Russia & Ukraine

No, I am ok with it because Ukraine did not take a stance to abstain from joining the EU and Nato. Russia has the same rights that the US reserved for itself under JFK.

Russia has no rights to invade any country, especially one that did not even attack them. This whole NATO thing is just a bullshit ruse... Russia does not get to decide what another soverign country decides to do by invading it.

Correct, if you broke into my house and had the upper hand I better give in to your demands if by calculation it can be estimated that giving in spares more blood than not giving in.

So Ukraine failed peace talks with the country that invaded them? So if I break into your house you better agree to eveyrthing I ask for or its your fault?

Russia does not have to kill every last Ukrainian... simply killing a couple of thousand while invading is fucktarded enough...

Except the US can do whatever it pleases? No, sorry, I don't buy into your fishy arguments. 3000 people were killed by a dozen terrorists. Then the US turns around and changes dictionary definitions and calls it an "act of war", lol. Reason to invade. The US invaded Iraq, Vietnam, and especially Afghanistan without ever having been attacked by the governments of said nations. You can't waive the green flag at one nation but the red one at another, both doing the same thing. The second you declared US's actions as lawful you have given up all rights to speak up on Russia. And what about the nice changes of definitions of "prisoner" in Guantanamo. Nice trickery going on TO THIS DAY.

Its ridiculous, Tree. One can't even ask questions in a polite manner without immediately being called names and slandered, even when one tries honestly. Any deviation from the main stream narrative gets you labeled as a Kremlin lover.

For the record, I'm an American citizen. Happy to prove who I am if someone wants to take the $10K bet. More than happy.

My wife is from Moscow, but spent her first 11 years or so in the Ukraine. She was born a Ukrainian during the Soviet Union. We discuss the conflict all the time, and she has relatives in Dnipropetrovsk. We are both very much against the war, but we are also very familiar with the use of propaganda to push and sway people's opinions. So asking questions is not only my right, it is recommended.

If all you do is label someone as soon as they have a different perspective, then you are the problem.
Sorry Comrade, they're on to you. Probably been conversing with Putin himself planning the next moves. I've seen every episode of The Americans and you're looking mighty suspicious. Na Zdorovie.

I have denounced Russia's attack on Ukraine publicly here on this forum, you can search for it. But what I do not accept is the hypocrisy how one nation is allowed to do exactly the same under a made-up pretext but now points fingers at another country that does exactly the same. And the left managed to divide people according to whether they wish Russia eternal suffering or not.

The world is not black and white. Many ills have been committed, what is hypocritical is to let one country get through with it and sell it as being patriotic when in support but vilify and wish death upon the people of another country that does exactly the same.

Not me but you do - every post of yours is filled with cynicism, and support for Mother Russia.

They probably have room for you to move from "C".

How cute, now some hotshots on tv dictate military policy and they hold the keys to the nuclear arsenal? If the rest of the world believed what comes out of our Western TVs every day, the rest of the world would have already committed suicide. Let's keep things real.

Even funnier, what comes out of the Swedish mouth. Were they not the ones boldly declaring independence from Europe and the European currency and wanting to go it their own way as much as possible. As soon as they see some Russian submarines on the horizon they wanna talk a European game? Hypocrisy.

The second Ukraine signs an agreement that it won't join Nato nor the EU not a single bullet will be fired. Ukraine has not by far made this concession (yet), though it will.

This is a crazy statement. Ukraine will choose its own destiny and Russia has no right to dictate the terms.

Now Ukraine would not be allowed in nato for years anyway for many reasons. The EU is a different story.

Don’t underestimate the vox populi.

Ukrainians know the difference between “the Russian people” and what they derisively call the “common Russian.” What you are getting here is the common Russian telling you what their appetite is. If think the Russians are on some soft ball invasion for defensive purposes you are either trying to lie to me or sadly mistaken. The Russians are looking to move into Europe proper under the threat of nuclear war.
