Royal Caribbean requires Proof of Vaccination for all passengers -- Quietly tells DeSantis off

Royal and other cruise lines will now require the wearing of masks on board. And take other measures like not allow smoking in the casino, etc.

This Omicron breakout is causing all the cruise lines to take more stringent Covid measures onboard.
 
Not sure who wants to take a cruise now with restrictions on travel in the Carribbean and masks all over the ship and other activities modified or cancelled...hope the staff and crew can stay employed but nothing about a cruise sounds attractive at the moment...

Cruise ships were once lauded as one of the safest vacations due to their strict health policies of only allowing vaxxed adults and their ability to isolate from the rest of the "dangerous" world. So tell us -- does DeSantis still think he has the power to force his policies on cruise ships. Or ha he learned he lesson after being spanked by the courts multiple times.

So Omicron is more vaccine evasive --- not surprising considering the data we have seen.

Tell us --- has a single vaccinated cruise passenger in recent weeks gotten a Covid case which required hospitalization. Oh... not a single one. Guess the vaccines are working to prevent severe illness. Ignoring the fact that only 0.2% of the cruise passengers on ships out of the U.S. in the past four week have been infected.
