Does anyone remember the early days of the pandemic when hundreds of people on cruise ships were quickly infected with Covid in days — with many severe cases. And this is with the original Covid — not the variants which are much more infectious.

Everyone on the RCL ship can thank vaccination for the lack of severe cases and limited number of Omicron infections.

48 out of 6000 is not really an outbreak.

SCIENCE said vaccines reduce likelihood of spread and reduce the severity of the symptoms.

SCIENCE never said vaccines stop you from getting it.... does the FLU shot stop you from getting it or boosts your immune system to fight it off.....

FOX News tells its viewers what they think science says versus actually quoting science.

You said science said something it didnt so you must be stating your political belief.

Also the Miami Herald is just stating the facts of what happened on the cruise ship, i.e. numbers infected versus total passengers. Does it matter if the MIami Herald or OAN reported the numbers... they are still the numbers.

Where is the politics in the Miami Herald article that listed the # of cases verus the number of passengers and crew.

We will wait...

So over 80% of the infected were unvaccinated.

Even on a cruise ship this is a pandemic of the unvaccinated.

Sadly unlike Celebrity (also owned by RCL) the standards are somewhat looser on Royal — hence this result. Now Royal needs to make their standards more stringent.
