You are the one in denial, you think Biden stepping down so some 'progressive' takes his place is a practical option. As if you don't even understand how incumbency matters.

Why don't you post Reagan vs Biden and show how much lower Reagan went. Did Reagan win a second term or not?

So tell me about the Obama's healthcare bill without a public option or his cabinet full of Goldman Sachs alumni.

So tell me about Bidens healthcare bill and how many millions has Biden gotten healthcare for

Very normal for incumbents, Biden wins because the Republican brand is in the toilet after the abortion ruling. It's simple as that, Biden doesn't have to be popular, his opponent has to be unpopular enough and either Desantis or Trump fits that role perfectly.

Biden/Garland may be playing cute dragging these Trump affairs since he's one of the few candidates he can beat, but let's say they do drop the hammer and not let him skate. DeSantis just isn't cut for it...you can see him crumbling in real time. Does Joe beat a Christie then? Regardless of how much better a "sensible" republican might be, some of us still want a dem to replace a Thomas (plus a plethora of other issues) if he retires or drops dead.

Don't think it even matters, Republican agenda is simply not popular which is why all they can focus is on transgenders. If the economy isn't cratering which seems unlikely, Democrats just need to do what they did during the mid-terms.
