The goal is arrest, whether they are resisting or not.
The goal should not be punishment for resisting, aka, contempt of cop.

Dumbed down:

If two cops can force the wrists together of a little lady in order to cuff her--even if she's resisting, then they should do that;

Not slam her head into a sidewalk, thereby removing any and all resistance, as well as possibly all life; so they can now cuff her without resistance.

The clowns here readily acknowledge that gun control laws won't be obeyed by criminals; so it doesn't make sense to enact them.

Yet, they want us to believe that we should expect criminals to simply obey all verbal orders from police, and just quietly go to jail.

I don't expect that at all. They should expect consequences for resisting. So simple a hood rat can do it.

We employ police to deal with criminals and resistance in a professional manner. Crimes and resistance should not be a surprise to anyone. It's the norm. It goes with the job.

I like your real world solutions. Don't commit crimes equals less risk. Yup. If you commit crimes compliance will reduce risk. Yup. So let me give some real world, let's cut through the bullshit advice to my black brothers.
If you have and encounter with police, especially big city police, your risk is elevated just because you're black. Sucks, but that's the deal. If you resist at all, just a bit lippy, your risk skyrockets. If you physically resist you are probably going to get shot, EVEN IF IT IS NOT WARRANTED. Yep, sucks ass for sure. So you have a decision to make. Comply, reduce risk and probaby live to make your case of police abuse in a courtroom, or resist and probably die, in which case your complaint will be made by the nearest BLM activists at the mostly peaceful protests which "mourn" your death. Yes, my black brother, you have every right to be angry about this fucked up situation and changes are needed, the process is painfully slow, mostly due to the lying scumbags pretending to represent you, but slow none the less. During this tedious time I encourage you, especially if you're not really stirring up shit intentionally, to please do yourself a favor and don't resist arrest. Like it, hate it, ya'll know it's the reality out there and it ain't gonna change by tomorrow.

Sometimes resisting warrants all three. Resist with a gun, might get shot. Resist by throwing punches, might get a beat down. Resist by very brief escape effort, might get away with an additional charge.

Police are not there to receive the subject's life long list of perceived wrongs rolled into resisting arrest.

Thanks. But this information is well-known. The victims have a hard time remaining calm when their rights are being violated in such a manner. I get it; you wouldn't understand.

There are a lot of fat people walking around. Don't they know that all they need to do is eat less and/or exercise more?

That advice to fat people is as helpful as your advice to Black people. Another "duh" scenario.

Instead of telling Blacks how to not make cops mad; maybe you should be addressing the root of the problem, rogue cops--and cops that don't report them.
