I could simply claim that everything just popped into existence.
I could simply claim, that a slug took a big shit and
the universe sprung forth from said shit.

I would say you're the one who needs some critical thinking lessons. The above sounds totally ludicrous to me. I'm not trying to be impolite. It's just that it's obvious to me that somebody intelligent created all this. If you can't see it, there's probably something in the way.

Guys, if you have any more questions, just walk into (or call) you local First Baptist church and ask away. They will be happy to answer all your questions.

Later.
that is simply absurd. let me get the phone book..

Gordon Gekko,

I realize you don't want to get into religious discussions today, but I enjoyed reading your explanation of death, and one really can't argue with it, but think about this: You could open your mind even more by accepting the fact that your view and a religious person's view might both be true.

It's like saying a $100 bill is only paper with a portrait on it.

Someone might argue a $100 bill really is a portion of all the goods and services etc. etc. represented in the form of a picture on a piece of paper.

Both views are essentially true, and yet there is no way to prove either.
it's all about evidence, my friend. show me any evidence at all when it comes to your religion.. i'll be waiting!

Better check up on your Religious history.

Try reading "The Darkside of Christian History".
Millions have died in the hands of religion.

High correlation of bloodshed and religion in this world.

Take the holy land for example...one of the most violent
places on earth, TODAY.

Enough said.

GG, I could say the exact same thing about your thoughts, but I'm not going to go that route.

I will say that the world would be a much scarier place without religion.
see what axeman said. you have no argument here, long-way-to-go.

Any man who denies the existence of God,....

This man is a fool, and is well deserving of whatever he receives.
hell, HERE I COME! i can't wait..it's going to be so much fun.

The above sounded completely ludicrous
because IT WAS SUPPOSED TO.

I was making a point.

Looking around and observing matter
and then taking a HUGE leap and
asserting that some white robed, blue
eyed, bearded man in the sky created everything
you see IS ABSOLUTELY ludicrous.

Its a fallacy... a non-sequitur.
Thanks for making my point.

Now run off to your critical thinking 101 course
and learn what a non-sequitur is.
