Wal-Mart’s profit to shareholders is about 3.6% of sales.

This means that for the majority of the country, on the items you buy at Wal-Mart, they are earning less than half of what the government takes in sales tax on the same item.

Yeah, service in this country is practically nonexistent. Although, I hold management responsible, I think they have almost given up on finding good help. Most of these people who get these service jobs just don't care. Management these days seems satisfied if they can just get a warm body. I wonder how many billions of dollars is lost each year in the restaurant business just because a lot of people won't go there. Not because they can't afford it. But, because they don't want to put up with the nonsense.

"Hello." "Can I get you something?" "Thank you." "Please". "Yes sir." "Yes ma'am." "Come back." "We appreciate your business."

What happened to those phrases?

At least you guys have bag boys... We vikings have to bag our own food...

I can't help it, this will always be my favorite...

It's not an advantage. Actually, I wish the nasty little twerps would keep their hands off my stuff. I will go thru a self-checkout 100% of the time, if one is available.

I don't believe in helmet laws.

I don't neither.

Did you see the news the other day, there was a helmet law protest and some biker got killed (no helmet). In my book this is neither here nor there, shit happens.

At any rate, people bitch about the cost to society if someone is injured by not wearing a helmet. Ehhh, I'll pay my fair share of tax dollars to support someone injured by not wearing a helmet. That's just me. disclaimer..I don't ride.
