ydfah is there anyway to write code for it that might allow for streaming data from something inexpensive like yahoo or some other readily available source? and why all of the sudden did this quit. i got an email back from harrison at qt saying they were working on the problem which i didn't understand. i thought they or tda caused it.

Nope, some site like Yahoo in the past specifically requested that QT not tap into their feeds. As to the recent backup issue, I have to idea.

You are right lipluradon...you have to have an account and subscribe to data, and patch will work. I use IB and it's been working, so far. RC
