QuoteTracker To Be Finished End of 2011

I downloaded the zippy website file to my windows 7 computer.
I extracted the files into my quotetracker directory.
Now, the only thing that works are the dj nasq, and s&p quote tickers.
My watchlist is stuck i.e. not receiving the streaming quotes.

Thanks for this Mr. Medved. I'm an IB user and just this week the backfill stopped working, and this fixed it.

So what is the deal now, TD bought your program and killed it and you are going to keep updating it out of generosity?

Or they are just too lazy to update the website?

Sorry if the answer is provided here but I don't have time to read 79 pages of this thread, if anyone can point me to it, I appreciate it.

I've been using QT for almost a decade and will be very sad to have to switch.

l12 didnt read the prev msg so a quick question....did u close QT before to copy the patch files?
 
I'm using 3.9.8 and it works just fine. But then I don't backfill. Just keep the computer running all week 24/7 :D Looks like the latest patch was uploaded - drumroll please ................................ Monday !
 
this is the best charting program i've ever used. don't know why they're doing away with it, but i hope to keep using it. downloaded your link, right clicked on it, "extract all", next, ..., then browsed down to the path by first opening my computer, then local disk (c:), then program files, then clicking on quotetracker which opens up the folder showing backups and cache, but i didn't click on those. once quotetracker's highlighted i then clicked okay and it gave me the path, C:\Program Files\QuoteTracker. then i clicked next, then yes to all for confirm file replace for the file stocks.exe, then finish. i assume i did this correctly, but please let me know.

I was referring not the the usual minor lag, but the extra special, ream job lag of up to 20 seconds they stuck in there for your trading enjoyment.

Talking to their tech support is an exercise in self abuse.

actually i think it's working now, thanks very much to everyone. sir jerry, if you ever get to sell a version after your non compete clause, let me know, i'll buy it
