ya check out the carryover channel from yesterday, still in effect.
secondly. you'll see on your chart that you shorted a pt3 (i assume that's what the red arrows are...well anyway) on falling volume...my understanding is that if you're going to be heading for a new point 2 from a FTT/pt 1, then you want increasing volume in the new direction.
so...it began, but then 'stopped' and changed on falling volume/DU.
your up right trend line wasn't broken until your 12:05 bar. preceding that you have DU (actually slow pace i guess), preceding that you have vol. increase UP....
bottom line i think is that your assessment is pretty much correct. i would personally add simply that the market began to FTT, then changed to attempt another pt3...which was followed by a rally to another point 2...but vol. wasn't 'there' so it fell apart and resumed the normal cycle. (increasing vol. pt1-2) after 12:05.
i believe this kind of area is where the faster fractal really helps out.
or maybe i don't know what i'm talking about.

I would not be too quick to put a "FFTT" among the World Trading Federation experiences. I have a hunch that your sequences are lacking.
Some suggested questions to ask yourself:
1. What is a FTT anyway?
2. Where does a FTT fit within your sequences? I.e., what precedes a FTT?
3. What follows a FTT in your sequence? Related question: is there only one possibility?
Your hang up is probably in 3.
Maybe you could post your chart again, this time pointing out the FTT bar or bars along your green channel and what you were looking for upon pegging a FTT.

If I pull out so I can see a couple of days back, I do see that we are in a ST long trend.
However, within the context of the channel I drew, the two arrows point to bars where, as I understand it, FTT's have occurred.
I understand a FTT to be when the traverse from right to left has discontinued .
So I see from bar 30 to bar 36, that we are riding the right channel line, with bar 36 starting the R2L traverse. Bar 37 is a FTT, bar 38 restarts the R2L traverse, and bar 39 is a FTT, bars 40 & 41 are R2L restarts, and then 42 is the FTT that (finally) takes.
When drawing my channels, I understand that FTT's are always pt 1s (which is why these little blip formations bug me so much.)
So, if they are FTT's, then I cannot rely on their position alone to determine if they are point 1s or not. (Drat - I accept it - but drat)
Or... are they part of a pennant (which I'm not seeing) or one of the C's in CCC (which I'm not seeing) or, something else?
Have I drawn this particular channel close to what you have? If so, how would you handle these blips? If not, could you post a comparison channel so I can fix myself

I was so tired I only traded for an hour, couldn´t focus. I had one winner and one looser, but now when I look at it afterwords I see that I shouldn´t have taken the loosing trade, r/r wasn´t good at all. It was simply tiredness I guess, combined with lack of experience.
The second winner your talking about Easyrider was around 12 right?
Dan, I have upgraded, but the constant range is based on last price, you will see if you try it that this is not working so well in some situations. I´ve started using it for ym and a couple of other markets that I cast a glance at once in a while, but it still doesn´t beat setting the range yourself so I still do it for ES.

I guess you can't be faulted too much for giving your honest answers. And it's not even curious as to why you would interject here with your ignorance amongst people hard at work. I've posted here long enough to know such things just come with the territory.
Good job "pointing out" what I was suggesting. That's "pointing out" in the transitive sense, as in "to bring something to notice", rather than the intransitive sense of "pointing to" something as with, for example, a finger. A person used to using his finger to learn things would understandably not know the difference.
In any case, I do what I can to communicate my "point" to others without too much concern how I do it. I realize English is not the best way sometimes. Perhaps the "mex" in your ID refers to your being Mexican. Hopefully someone fluent in Spanish reading this thread can help you then.

btw, yes I highlighted "point(er)" in the context of "a reference to an address of a value"... ie: computer science.
