Question for Grob/Hershey...

I did as you advised in G1 of data sheet now G1 seems to be working because I can see number moving but B2 showing “Invalid topic.”
In B2 I see =ID|'@ESM6'!'T Time' - perhaps this is where I am having trouble? I invite your further comments.

Hey Txuk -

I updated the appropriate cells to reflect IB usage and it crushed my (new) laptop :p

CPU usage pegged @ 100%, and the wait cursor came up. I couldn't scroll in it, edit anything, or close it.

Thoughts?

Yes, performance is an issue. I spend most of my time dealing with free as much of the CPU as possible. What TXUK has provided is very nice and at some point farther down the line, I will get to the type of information it provides...

B2 on which sheet? Data or PRV?

On the data sheet you shouldn't put anything in there (delete out the text you put in there), as it's filled automatically with VBA code.

On the PRV sheet, well, mine has the text "ACTUAL" in it, so I don't think you mean that one...

Yes the 30 seconds is a small price to pay. Backfilling the sheet would have just been a mess code wise.

Post the sheet! You seam to be mixing two different syntaxes (IB and IQFEED)...

Sorry if my comment came across as maligning towards Txuk - they were not intended so.

The separate sheets running by themselves do not cause this behavior, and I play HL2 daily without any problems - this should run ok (unless Txuk coded the HL3 engine into the VBA portion, which wouldn't surprise me.) I don't want to derail the thread further, so I'll work with him offline.

Please note I don't have IQFEED. I am trying to run this off IB feed, it looks as if the data is coming through now but my time looks to have got stuck on 5:00pm whereas now it's 5:42 here. I am in the UK.
