You guys are more of pro than I am. I was just agreeing with your comments... I was noticing the same performance pinging in the CPU with txuk new sheet. Whatever optimization you guys work out I'm sure will help. I am still using the old school style...
As far as posting media, I found this tool called AVI/MPEG/ASF/WMV Splitter V2.31... I have a 10 day trial which I will probably purchase anyway. Here's a grab of a 5M bar with the abstraction. Really think about this. I don't want to take away from anyone's ability to just "SEE" what is happening so I will provide a sufficiently brief context...

If I get in to a whole mind dump, no one will have an AHA moment and I will go crazy answering questions which you can trust yourselves to know the answers to. Remember, I'm a dummy. Months back, Grob blatantly pushed me down the learning curve to knowing how to not get stuck... It was an absolute must for me to use this process of getting unstuck to continually improve...

Hmmm, I had no noticable change in performance and this is something I'm very concious of. I'll work with Anthony offline to see if we can figure it out.
As for making updates and debugging in excel... I found that I had to open the sheet w/ macros disabled, update the code, close & reopen w/ macros enabled, observe, and start the process over again to make further changes. Is there a more efficient way of doing this?
You're killing me mate... So you ARE mixing IB and IQFEED syntax. The stuff you have blurted out should not be your IQFEED id, it should exactly be "IQLINK". If figuring out whether it is IQFEED you need to be looking or IB, we are going to be in tough shape moving forward. It is ok to struggle to figure out how things work. I am forced to do this everyday.
Alot of this stuff will just not fit in with where people are wrt trading and that is ok. It is a lengthy path. We are all at different points. Unknown to me was that I may be at a very different point. My effort here is just to share as opposed to deal with peoples pictures of what's going on. My mind is screwed in a good sense. Even when I am sleeping it seams as though I am still consciously debriefing and at the moment, I am debriefing others pictures. Each morning I get up, I get new lightbulbs and ideas...
Pictures are important for people but everyone has to get to a point to be able to fix that which is not working for them. As I got through more and more posts, it started to push me the other way since I am starting to recognize that is possibly an inappropriate time to get a ball rolling on something that I have so often tried to do before... Unfortunately, I am running out of time (health is fine). I know there are a bunch of lurkers who can help out but don't and I hate leaving people by the wayside. I am very thankful for people like Txuk/IRL/Easy/AWeissen/Icarus and Hypo for his pseudo civility. This is a full out ET Community Service effort... Many hands make light work. Some will just get it and some will just not. I stayed out of the first go around at SCT (nwbprop initiative) because I recognized I wasn't ready for it and I was ok with that. There is nothing wrong with just filing this stuff away for later as we mentioned some pages back.
I could do as Dan asks and just Camtasia the day but seeing how people look over my shoulders from time to time and get ZERO lightbulbs, there will not be any benefit and a whole lot of questions... The material covers a much broader span than the equities components so questions will abound and will likely never be sufficiently answered to everyone's liking.
Nonetheless we push forward.

Yes you are. I felt right away that you grasped what Jack was talking about without the long history of mistakes that the rest of us carry into the mix. I hope you will just carry on with your quest and put it out there without trying to please everybody. That will burn you out for sure.

Mak, looks like you got the chop working for the wmv files - I have Ulead (video editing software) and can do that for you if you choose not to go with other software.
