Where did Trump say that illegal immigration was increasing. There are several others.

Think about this, Trump said, "We want immigrants, but they must come here legally." Now exactly who disagrees with that? Hillary Clinton? MSNBC? The Prince of Saudi Arabia? Putin? You?

According to you if we just keep doing what we have always been doing, the illegals will just die off and since new ones on are not pouring across the border, in 20 years, all things the same, we should have less illegals than we have today. So...problem solved.

I've seen as many as fifty young men, all with their sports t shirts and Baseball caps (so they look American...you can always tell who is legal and who is illegal. The legals still have some pride and wear their traditional hats and boots and maintain a good catholic Mexican family way of life) with their one gallon jugs of water, intertwining right under the interstate in drainage ditches in broad daylight, just like the Viet Cong who knew most would be captured or killed but there was many more of them than there are of us and eventully we would just get tired.

second to listening to people gripe about hypocrisy, defending a border is the ultimate drag.

as for me, I'd rather be the guy who sneaks good people in (or out) than the government who keeps good people out (or in.)

This is a great example of their bias. Obviously arrest statistics might be a proxy for illegal immigration, PROVIDED the laws are being enforced. We know they aren't. We have all see videos of huge numbers of illegals streaming across the border, all claiming to be refugees, most of them young men. None of them were arrested. Instead, they were scooped up and hidden all acorss the country in communities that were forced to take them.

I am nearly certain that 100 years from now, the notion of a macro-grid will be alien to most living human beings. In fact, this will lead to micro states as well, and I predict that the world's nations will grow five-fold as nations fracture along philosophical and political alignments with other people of same mind, before we have "Starfleet" when the entire world unifies. That will require abolishing the fantasy of God, so it may take 500 years.

Would not be surprised at all to see the US be five nations by 2130.

If I had to hazard a guess I would say that 100 years from now we will be in an ice-age huddling over small fires in cave entrances scattered about the southern hemisphere, all 400 of the survivors that is.

But if that miraculously does not occur I would say that your home and autonomous vehicle will be powered by something closer to Mr. Fusion than anything else I've seen lol. It might just be a box in the garage or in a utility room. Somehow they will combine fusion with superconductivity to get reactors very small and not too hot.

The problem with wind and solar is that it gets dark and calm at night lol. The instantaneous power demand is enormous and the idea of attempting to store electrical energy on any large scale is going to fail regardless of battery efficiencies. You must generate power 24x7.
