Pete is taking sheet for being a racist

He was done as soon as that police shooting occurred. Mayors that want higher higher political office as a democrat need to take note that racist and murderous police will ruin their careers like Rahms and Petes.
 
The whole article only devoted one shortp aragraph to the actual event:

"The South Bend mayor's administration came under scrutiny after Sgt. Ryan O’Neill of the South Bend Police Department shot Eric Logan after reportedly approaching the officer with a knife. O'Neill did not have his body camera on, and Logan died shortly afterward in the hospital. Logan's family filed a lawsuit against South Bend claiming excessive force against Logan."

and then the rest of the article dedicated to people criticizing Pete but no specifics on why his reaction was poor or not enough..

The "actual event" has been extensively reported along with his meeting with protesters. This article is more to the issue of the backlash that has developed. You might want to go back to earlier articles to come up to speed. I dont think there is any attempt to provide remedial information for those who have not kept up or are new to the issue.

Very informative article. Points out the outrage from several different angles.

Or he could follow the age old politic advice which is that if your opponent (which Pete is) is taking a beating just stay out of it and pretend that you are taking the high road. Let Buttplug fend for himself against a beating by lefties. Dont give Buttplug the out of making it look like it is being cranked up by Trump.
 
This very well organized attack against him makes me think that the DNC powers that be see him as a real threat to the we must elect a woman movement which currently rules the party. He came off as the only intelligent person on the debate stage. Sorry Pete, being gay just isn't enough these days. That dick has got to go.
