Our guns are what kept Japan from invading in the '30's/40's. They knew what it would take to go house to house. I'd say it's very similar from the viewpoint of our military today.

As for (2), US wars, generally speaking, may not provide examples of what the US is capable of. What the US military does and what it has the capability to do are different things. As a former Marine Officer, I can ASSURE you that 75% or more of the USMC would defect if this broken government tried to fight back an armed revolt by killing it's own people (Patriots.)

In addition, I have Family and Friends who are with different branches, and we've had this conversation more than once. The US military would damn near entirely defect if this gubment turned arms against the American people.

One of the main themes I ALWAYS hear is, "fuck that! I'm going home to be with my Family." NONE even gave a shit about getting their paychecks, or defending the government they work for.

I wouldn't want to be one of the tyrants in Washington these days...:eek:

Americans are still in charge. They just don't know it as they should.

No need to be facetious. I'm just pointing out what I've seen and heard behind the scenes. Does anyone want a revolt? NO! We The People just want our Country back from a government that has become what exactly what our Founders feared.
Reality and common sense, however, point to more of the same and worse if this government is allowed to continue the way it currently is.
