Many expected Tuesday night’s vice presidential debates to be a pretty boring affair. So when Indiana Gov. Mike Pence (R) used his opening lines to thank “Norwood University” for their “wonderful hospitality,” debate watchers went wild on Twitter.
That’s because Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia was hosting the debate, not Norwood U ― which doesn’t exist.
Fact-checkers and debate-watchers, including students of the real host university (which was, as a reminder to Pence, Longwood University), did not go easy on the governor for making the glaring mistake five minutes into the debate.
Some people said the debate was immediately over after the mixup. Others suggested that Norwood was a rebranded version of Trump University. The mistake even inspired a new wave of students to “apply” to the imaginary college.

I didn't watch the debate but was Kaine asked about being pro-TPP and a major pro-bank advocate?

Pence destroyed Kaine on style and substance.
For the first hour CNN was accurately and I would say reasonably discussed from the left and the right over how well he did and even fact checked Pence as correct on the putin issue. Trumps son then destroyed the dems ticket on CNN of all places. I sense the anchors on CNN are tried of being thoughtless lying drones and devoid of credibility. You can tell Wolf and Cooper do desire to be heavyweights instead of spinners.
The second hour they reverted to democrat spin and had one of their paid liars to change the fact check from better vs strong (Pence said strong compared to Obama) to praised Putin.
They then came out with the Kaine carried the water for Hillary even though that was not his style.

One thing that is magnificent to see is how we humans have the superb ability to see the same thing and come to completely different conclusions, based on our own current bias.
