Pence vs Kaine

She did better against Obama than Romney and McCain.

She was not unopposed in the primary and she made a lot of good democratic candidates step aside this cycle because they did not want to face the Clinton machine.

Word is as popular as Rudy Giuliani was at the time he bowed out of the NY Senate race against her because she had information that would have destroyed him.

The Clinton Machine forced them out and she ran unopposed.

Trump was the only chance not to win the election. The best candidate out there was Rubio. If Rubio had been the candidate he would have won 400 EC votes.

I'll add that Rubio has some shady business and sex stuff in his past that Hillary would have exposed.

"He's gone beyond putting more nails in his coffin. He's now got out the impact wrench and bolted the top firmly down. If he is not extremely guarded in his remarks from here on out, it will be the equivalent of getting out the grinder and cutting the bolt heads off."
LOL. Having spent most of my career in industrial manufacturing and much of that as a machinist/millwright before I went to the dark side of management, I can appreciate your assessment. There is one more step in the process which I believe we'll soon see. Once the bold heads are ground down out comes the welder to permanently affix those bolt heads in place. There's no give up in this guy, so it's a complete crash and burn in the offing.
Thank you for that. I am an unabashed admirer of machinists and millwrights. We had a very sophisticated shop in all three of the various outfits I have worked for and the stuff they could turn out leaves speechless, even today many years later. I particularly remember a series of holes drilled for me not much larger than a human hair! And every one of them executed to perfection. I will tell you a funny story, something that happened not in the machine shop but in the glass blowing facility at Los Alamos. I had brought in a condenser head that I had broken and repaired myself. Needless to say, it was on the lumpy side. I proudly handed it to one of the glass blowers (who were true artisans) and said, "Can you make me one more just like this, please.", his reply, "I don't know if I can make it just like that one, but I'll do my best."
