...A POTUS can reek havoc, on any given day, anywhere in the world. A POTUS is POTUS until they are replaced. Trump hasn't been replaced yet.
You do understand that a POTUS can take certain actions without congressional approval?
Additionally, Trump has installed yes-men throughout the DOD.
Had we asked you before the riot, whether you thought a riot on at the Capitol Building could happen, you'd of probably laughed at that too.
That's right...POTUS can cause a lot of damage...hold maskless rallies, encourage more riots that results in deaths of law enforcement / politicians / other American citizens.
- He can do that in one single day.
The real damage is beyond the 5 individuals that died...its the growing distrust with those assigned to defend the Capitol Hill within law enforcement at Capitol Hill. Resignations at the top already starting but it wont stop until particular law enforcement working at Capitol Hill were seen in videos to letting in those storming the Capitol, taking selfies with insurrectionists or leading insurrectionists to private working spaces of Congress members that did not have their names on the doors nor title while at the same time the insurrectionists where not lead to the doors with names / titles...
To imply it was an inside job involving Capitol Hill law enforcement.
As I stated awhile back, the militias and retired military personnel (veterans) are a real threat. They have the background, experience, training and most likely active connections with those on active duty / national guard...these types of insurrectionists need to be rooted out.
Hopefully more of them will be identified via facial recognition programs to show these veterans are bad apples. Too bad there's not a way to strip them of their pension if they're convicted of any crimes for storming Capitol Hill...maybe I'm wrong and there are laws against that would enable loss of pension to these individuals.
