OEC dead in the water this AM?

Yes, I had a disconnect/reconnect and charts stopped updating around 11:44am. The chart software (Sierra Chart) however does not show a disconnection with OEC and appears to be reconnected but no new bars are being drawn. I am no longer going to use OEC as a primary broker because these issues are now far too persistent to ignore and I consider myself lucky that I have not lost that much money because of these problems. I will now keep OEC as a backup account only and hopefully in the future they will return to a more stable and reliable system. :(
 
I told them to roll the stupid update back too, this is long over due and getting on everyone nerves. This would have never happened before the takeover from optionsexpress or whoever it was..

As of this morning they are missing 4 hours off the volume and tick data, very fucking unprofessional. They must have the worst developers and technical people in the industry, any one that's looking for a broker, you need to bypass these guys.

5th day of issues.
 
I consider myself a pretty forgiving guy,but if these problems are not fixed today then I will take my business elsewhere.
P.S.-I've been with OEC for 2 years and it has been a very reliable broker until now,but five days is just too much :mad:

I know it's hard to say goodbye ... but as I've said before, this is all business.

Just looking at their website, it's conceivable that what they are experiencing is growing pains, and they have simply taken on too much for them to handle.

They were purchased by Optionsxpress it's more likely their interference has f**ked up the platform. That said last night when I got onto my trading PC I got a nice dialog from OEC Trader. At the time I had no active orders of any kind:

I will stay with OEC for now as my backup broker, but will be moving some of my backup cash to Tradestation/RJO Futures just in case.

I have them as my backup broker as well and mainly use them for the free charts. However, I'm just about fed up at this point as my charts are still a disaster 5 days later and their reps have been zero help. They told me that they aren't experiencing any issues and that I must be an isolated case.
