Nuclear Fail by Obama - Russian bombers in CA

It's more rational to keep your ignorant mouth shut when you don't know what you're talking about, instead of making groundless statements about what's going on over here when you in fact have no clue.

It's also more rational to not make yet another groundless statement about "groundless paranoia" when I've not made any that would qualify as either. But maybe you don't realize that because you're so far out of your depth.

"The Russian planes in question do not violate US airspace." sure sounds like it.
Whatever, mate... If you wanna get all hot 'n bothered about this, you go right ahead.
And sadly, the gravamen of this situations is that Obama's policies have been failing in every part of the world so its hard to say anything is not his fault... its axiomatic, weakness is exploited by bad actors.
How do you define "weakness" exactly? If Obama's policies are "weak", what would "strong" alternatives look like?

if you don't know what is weak about Obama, you need to rework your mental filters.
but just so you don't think I am trying to duck a hard question...

the first thing any non stoner learns in life is you don't draw lines without every intention of backing them up. If you fail to make your stand every bully from the school yard on up will walk all over you. Additionally part of the package of being a respected person is saying what you mean and doing it.

He has made the world far more dangerous.
And he has been so weak... I am not concerned he will do something really stupid to save face.

then there was this... not the best examples of the apology tour... but you get the drift.
he went around the world debase our standing and instead of being welcomed in as the world leader he has been clowned by Putin and the middle east.

and this... never mind the above is enough..

I had the English basement of the house built with lead-bonded gypsum from RPP. Also a frequently replenished water tank leading to a state of the art RO system and grey-water recycling. MREs and a ton of long shelf-life foods (decades). 2000sf of living space.

Two AUGs; Glocks, and 2000 rounds as well.

You can always bring the family to the Tsing Tao Bunker in the Blue Ridge mountains. I'll give you the coords and the password! :)

I understand re Obama, but I am just very curious about the specific alternatives you could offer. Moreover, if you're of the view (as I am) that the US should generally diminish its enthusiasm for the "world policing" business, isn't inaction the right course?

Hope you don't mind if i butt in when you asked Jem.

When Russian jets fly by our coasts, that's something for us to take seriously and consider if those provocations have gone too far. I don't think that's policing the world.

When Russians supply Assad in Syria with weapons, that's something that our getting involved in could actually be called policing the world and it was the left that was hell bent for leather to take action there. The left wanted to help people in Syria in a civil war where neither side should be any friend of ours. I don't care if mccain and graham were also for it, it was leftist policy to police the world.

Awwww. Hope I didn't hurt your feelings. :( It's just that I must have forgotten that your perch in London gives you such a comprehensive view of our west coast and the inner workings of our government, that you can rightly dismiss as "groundless paranoia" any American's disagreement with your pronouncements about what's happening over here.

i am absolutely of the mind that we should withdraw our troops from many bases around the world.

Our dollar is no longer worth much in part because we have allowed our dollar to be debased as we spent incredible amounts of money and and blood policing the world. Don't forget this world police force allowed our cronies to see that the dollar became the world wide currency. Which allowed those who created the dollars with key strokes to flood the world with dollars in exchange for loans or assets. (a strategy which debased by a few thousand percent since WWII.) We don't need to continue to lower our standard of living and further debase our dollar to protect those who can protect themselves.

Frankly... most of our leaders lack the morals, the backbone and skills to make correct choices anyway.
Obama and Bush are proof we have to decrease our military and policing ambitions.
