NRA Hijinks

Please don't say you "always have a source", because it's just not true. I wish you did, as it would make debating you a bit easier. But frequently you just point me to google, and some of those times it turns out you're making something up.

I don't see the Pew study, but regarding the GSS study, allow me to post this:

So given the choice, I'll go with Gallup as the unbiased source.

Your original comment was:

when in reality, Self-Reported gun ownership is the highest since 1993 (yes, I know, I'm going with the Gallup headline which picks a statistical point in time).

I'll be happy to look at the Pew results if you'd like, but that requires you to provide the survey. I'm not going to go looking for your sources.

Another interesting comment on the Gallup poll:

A clear societal change took place regarding gun ownership in the early 1990s, when the percentage of Americans saying there was a gun in their home or on their property dropped from the low to mid-50s into the low to mid-40s and remained at that level for the next 15 years. Whether this reflected a true decline in gun ownership or a cultural shift in Americans' willingness to say they had guns is unclear. However, the new data suggest that attitudes may again be changing. At 47%, reported gun ownership is the highest it has been in nearly two decades -- a finding that may be related to Americans' dampened support for gun-control laws. However, to ensure that this year's increase reflects a meaningful rebound in reported gun ownership, it will be important to see whether the uptick continues in future polling.

"So given the choice, I'll go with Gallup as the unbiased source. "

Lol, what a surprise.

Unless you can refute it or show something to prove it could be tainted, why shouldn't I? I'll gladly consider some info you have that shows Gallup is politically biased on this survey. Or even that it could be.

Your points are almost always worthless, and in need of proper context. If that makes me "gay" according to you, then color me pink and call me Susan.

Well, Susan, if you'd rather not be exposed to anything other than the typical Southern Christian Conservative Cracker dogma, you could always put me on Ignore. Perhaps you might even stick to it.

I may shock you to know that I'm neither southern or religious. I'm actually from the New York City area. New York City! Get a Rope!

As for putting you on ignore, why on earth would I do that? It's too much fun pointing out the inconsistencies in your posts and how completely looney you are.

You can't "refute" the other two polls, so pound sand, lol.

You don't have to be from the South or religious to spout Southern Christian Conservative Cracker dogma. Look at jem.

I didn't refute the GSC one, I just showed how it is potentially biased, as it is partially funded by a group pushing gun control legislation. As for the Pew one, you've still not reproduced it, so for all intents and purposes in this argument, it doesn't exist.
